The 2015 Taiwan-Hungary Roundtable was held in National Tsing Hua University on September 30. The event is an inaugural cooperation between the Foundation for International Cooperation in Higher Education of Taiwan (FICHET) and the Hungarian Rectors’ Conference (HRC) with the aim of creating more collaboration opportunities for Taiwan and Hungary. The participants included presidents, vice presidents and deans of international affairs from both countries.

The discussion topics include: (1) Student Recruitment in Higher Education: Mission, Strategies and Action Plans, (2) Promotion for Feasible University Collaboration: Exchange Students, Joint Research and Joint/Dual Degree. In addition, both Taiwan and Hungary gave an introduction on the education system respectively. Dr Zoltán Dubéczi, the Secretary General of the HRC proposed to have the second Taiwan-Hungary Roundtable Meeting in Budapest next year.
