Memorandum of understanding has been signed between the National Angolan Institute of Scholarship Management (INAGBE) and the HRC in order to implement undergraduate scholarships in Hungary

On behalf of the Angolan Ministry of Higher Education, Dr. Moisés Kafala Neto, General Director of the National Angolan Institute of Scholarship Management (INAGBE) and Helena Preciosa Fernandes Gaspar, Technical of the Cooperation Office arrived to Budapest on 16 September 2015.

 

During their visit to several campuses, bilateral meetings took place with the representatives of Szent István University, the College of Dunaújváros and Óbuda University. Also, Dr. Moisés Kafala Neto, General Director of the INAGBE and Dr. Zoltán Dubéczi, Secretary General of the Hungarian Rectors’ Conference has signed a Memorandum of Understanding in order to implement undergraduate scholarships in Hungary.

 

 

Apart from fostering higher educational cooperation between Angola and Hungary and exploring the opportunities in Hungarian higher education, the Angolan delegation’s visit also aimed to considerably increase the number of students arriving to Hungary from Angola. According to the intention indicated at the preliminary discussions, from September 2016, 50 students could start undergraduate degree programmes in Hungarian higher educational institutions. The organization and coordination of the scholarship program will be arranged centrally by the Hungarian Rectors’ Conference.
