The project EFFECT has been launched with the participation of the Hungarian Rectors’ Conference
The grant agreement of EFFECT (European Forum for Enhanced Collaboration in Teaching) has been approved by the European Commission in the beginning of November, enabling the start of the project activities.
In the framework of the project consortium partners -12 partners from 8 countries-, including the Hungarian Rectors’ Conference, will realize activities aiming at the enhancement of higher education teaching between 2015 and 2018.
The project will focus on the following interlinked objectives:
– Facilitate exchange and collaboration between European actors and stakeholders for the enhancement of higher education teaching
– Identify and exchange good practices in the field of enhancing higher education teaching
– Develop new and innovative approaches to learning and teaching enhancement
– Support institutions in the development of strategic approaches to the enhancement of learning and teaching
– Develop a model for a sustainable European structure for the enhancement of learning and teaching
– Provide recommendations for the policy level, in particular with regards to a European perspective, with the aim of enhancing higher education teaching at institutions
‘Introduction to Business Incubation in CEE and Hungary’ presentation was given by the HRC in Manchester
The Final Conference of the ALISIOS project and the 7th International Seminar and 8th General Assembly of the GCUB took place on 27-29 October 2015 in Manchester, UK. It was hosted by the University of Manchester and the Coimbra Group of Brazilian Universities (GCUB) and it was jointly organized by the ALISIOS partners GCUB, the University of Bologna and the project coordinator, the University of Coimbra.
The Conference and the GCUB events gathered representatives of higher education institutions (HEI), networks of HEI, governmental and non-governmental agencies, international education professionals from Europe, Brazil and several other countries around the world to discuss several topics regarding higher education innovation and internationalization.
Also, the project partners and the SwB/CsF Forum members met on 27 October.
