Conference of HRC and EURASHE on ‘Future Students. Future Universities. Future Jobs. Professional Higher Education in the changing world.’
Hungarian Rectors’ Conference (MRK) together with the EURASHE (European Association of Institutions in Higher Education) organise its 29th Annual Conference ‘Future Students. Future Universities. Future Jobs. Professional Higher Education in the changing world.’ in Budapest (Hungary) on 15-17 May 2019. The first day of event will take place and Andrássy University and the conference days will happen at Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
EURASHE’ Annual Conference this year will concentrate on how citizens will live, work and develop tomorrow. Education plays a key role in addressing global challenges and responding to sustainable development goals. Generation X, Y, Z, millennials as well as older generations: what learning experience do they expect from Higher Education Institutions? What kind of skills will they need to lead successful lives and professional careers? How will Professional Higher Education help provide those skills? Are we definitely moving away from knowledge-oriented curricula and coherent qualifications into an age of transferable skills? How do we re-invent learning and teaching to remain relevant in a world of uncertainty?
We invite universities of applied sciences’ leaders, the entire community of professional higher education, European businesses and public institutions and European students’ representatives to attend the Annual Conference to share their experience and learn about trends, models and inspiring practices.
The program of the conference and the registration panel is available here: https://www.eurashe.eu/events/annual-conferences/29-budapest/#symple-tab-conference-programme.
