Hungarian Rectors’ Conference signed the common declaration of 36 British and other European higher educational bodies, universities and research institutions to express their intention to continue cooperation after Brexit
The declaration emphasizes the significance of the higher educational collaboration between the United Kingdom and other European countries, and specifically calls attention to the European Union’s Horizon 2020 and Erasmus+ Framework programs and the continuum of cooperation in the framework of these programs. Besides British-, and other European universities signatories consist of major UK organizations, the European University Association (EUA), European rectors’ conferences -including the Hungarian Rectors’ Conference- and other umbrella organizations.
Representing the Hungarian higher educational institutions, the Hungarian Rectors’ Conference highlights the particular importance of maintaining and further developing its existing partnerships with higher educational organizations in the United Kingdom beyond Brexit.
