The Hungarian Rectors’ Conference held its plenary session on 16-17, October, 2012 at the University of Debrecen; the presentation of Helena Nazaré, President of the European University Association, also contributed to the success of the event.
Viktor Orbán, Prime Minister of Hungary; Zoltán Balog, Minister of Human Resources; Zoltán Maruzsa, Deputy Secretary of State; Helena Nazaré, President of the European University Association; Barna Mezey, President of Hungarian Rectors’ Conference; and István Fábián, Rector of the University of Debrecen also participated at the event.
Viktor Orbán and Zoltán Balog delivered their speech on the Hungarian higher education’s present and future from Hungarian point of view, whereas Helena Nazaré represented the current European trends in the higher education funding systems.
